How did this start?
I love observing people and things. Whilst I do have my own opinions, I mainly reserve them for discussions amongst friends and myself. Instead, I like to find out what people think and how they react to different things, it's amazing the different views and perspectives that people have in life; some similar to my personal views and some being quite the opposite of that. With this in mind, I was paying attention to passing news on the different reactions people had to things like lockdown and 5G towers alike. As someone who has previous experience with having to stay home when schools closed down because of a spreading illness such as swine flu, I didn't find the effects of lockdown baffling. It intrigued me as to how people were reacting, I understood the severity of the situation, but many people seemed to be more concerned over lockdown than finding a cure or a better way to prevent the virus from spreading.
One late night, I was lying on the bed simply mulling over things, when the idea to make a collaborative project hit me. I rang up @illusnaab to ask whether she was interested in being a part of this project. Initially named TACT, a name which we based on the initials of some candidate's names- we wanted to focus on how people got through difficult situations. Especially in these trying times. We later changed this to its current name (though fun little names like CAT and such were considered) Pigeon Hole Illustrations, the concept behind this name was to have people from all over to send in their stories much like the functions of a real pigeon hole you'd find in offices.
